Store Reports data on Google Drive

Overview

The Reports service can make use of Google Drive for offsite data storage. This enables  historical reporting without increasing the data retention on the device, as well as more options for manipulation and sharing.

First, set up Google Drive Connector integration

Google Drive Connector will need to be configured in order to sync with a Google account: Integrate NG Firewall with Google Drive

 

Configuring Reports export to Google Drive

Go to Apps > Reports > Data

If you have properly configured Google Drive Connector, you will see that it is configured but you have not selected a backup folder:

Click Configure Google Drive to access the settings for Google Connector, then click Select Directoryto select the appropriate folder in your Google Drive. Note that subdirectories are not supported: you must select a top-level folder.

Once the Google Connector is configured you can enable automatic uploads of Reports data and/or CSV files to Google.
