Managing Micro Edge Policies in ETM Dashboard: Provisioning

Overview

The Provisioning tab details which Policies have been assigned to which appliance(s) and enables syncing of policies to appliances.

The main Provisioning page displays a table listing your policies, organized by appliance. The table details which policies are assigned to each appliance and the sync status of each appliance.

This table also has the following global buttons:

• Export CSV: export the table to a comma-separated file
• Refresh: refresh the contents of the table

Syncing a policy

Syncing policies updates any existing policies on the appliance, matching their settings to the policy configuration in ETM Dashboard.

In order to sync a policy to an appliance(s), you must first select it in the table. This will enable the Sync Now button: click Sync Now to update all resident policies on the appliance.

Comparing appliance settings to a profile

An appliance which has a Profile assigned can be compared to the profile's settings to display the differences. 

Select the appliance to compare and click the Compare button to display a side-by-side view of the differences between the appliance (on the left) and the policy (on the right). Items which will be added are highlighted in green; those which will be removed are highlighted in red.
