Manually Installing Root Cert on Chromebook

There are two ways to install the root certificate for SSL Inspector on Chromebooks. The simplest is via the Google Admin Console. The steps for doing that are listed here:
 
 
If you don't have access to the Admin Console you can still manually install the certificate by following the steps outlined below.

  1. In the Chrome Browser go to Settings. Use the "Search" bar to search for certificate.

  2. Select Manage certificates​

  3. Click the Authorities tab, then click Import

  4. ​Locate the certificate you downloaded from the NGFW, and click Open.

  5. You should now be able to see the certificate in the list of Authorities.

  6. Optionally, click View to see details of the certificate. It should look similar to what is shown below:
