Ad Blocker: Why isn't Ad Blocker updating automatically?

Ad Blocker uses third-party sources for its definitions, none of which are under Arista ETM's control.  Since we don't monitor or verify the signatures' or updates' content, automatic updating could cause issues with NG Firewall. For that reason, Ad Blocker can only be updated manually and at your own risk.

This is done at Apps > Ad Blocker > Options > Update Filters. 

Ad blocking via Web Filter

It's important to note that Ad Blocker was created to filter a very different web than the current incarnation, so its filters may not work very well (or at all). For more effective ad blocking, we recommend blocking the 'Web Advertisements' Category in Web Filter > Categories.
