Upgrading your Micro Edge

Overview

Micro Edge automatically updates on Saturday at midnight when new versions become available. 

Configuring automatic upgrades

You can configure automatic upgrades in Settings > System > Upgrade. If you prefer a different day or time to perform upgrades, select your preferred a Day of the Week and Time. If you prefer to upgrade manually, toggle Automatically install upgrades.

Manual upgrades

You can manually perform an upgrade using an upgrade image file. This option is useful when testing beta releases or if you prefer to manually upgrade your Micro Edge.

 To update your Micro Edge from a file

1. Download the upgrade image for your appliance from ETM Dashboard.
2. In the upgrade screen, click Choose File and select the upgrade image.
3. Click Upgrade. Allow up to two minutes for the upgrade to complete.
