Issues with Splashtop Application & NG Firewall

Splashtop is a remote desktop application that is similar to RDP or LogMeIn. However, there are issues that arise when using Splashtop with NG Firewall that have been reported by various users. Specifically, if NGFW has SSL Inspector installed and configured, Splashtop will not create remote desktop connection sessions. After testing, the only current solution we have is to disable SSL Inspector, as it seems that the application does not allow connections when traffic is being inspected.
